Philly + Texas = Texadelphia Cheesesteaks, i.e. Texas cheesesteaks with a side of tortilla chips & salsa. At this Austin bred home of deliciousness, you can top your Texas cheesesteak with local favorites such as ranch, jalapenos, picante or hicory barbecue sauce. In anticipation of our trip to Philly this September, we decided to wet our appetites at this fine Texas establishment.
Mind you, we are well aware that there is a good chance that these sandwiches will be outdone in Philly -- i.e. the home of the cheesesteak. But for now, ignorance is bliss. Oh, God. We can taste authentic Philly cheesesteaks already!
